Food Technology Teacher - Bury - September Are you a Qualified Teacher looking for your next teaching role? Are you able to commit to a full time role from September until Easter 2025? Prospero Teaching are looking for a Food Technology Teacher to work in a large, over subscribed school in Bury on a full-time basis. The role will start in September and will continue until they break for Easter 2025. It is essential that you are a Qualified Teacher and that you are qualified to teach food technology & have experience in teaching key stage 3 & 4 pupils. You will be expected to fully immerse yourself into school, attend departmental meetings, provide regular feedback to students and be available for parents evenings as and when they arise. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location Bury Position Food Technology Teacher Start date September 2024 End date - Easter 2025 Duration - 2 terms Full time Minimum rate of pay GBP153.85 per day Hours 8:20 am 4:00pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS, QTLS, PGCE, GTP, SCITT or equivalent Previous experience teaching Food Technology in a UK school Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide training) Up to date prevent Awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, we can provide training) Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, we can provide training) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide a minimum of two professional child related references If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
