Part-time Church Minister

We are a church family who seek to follow Jesus as Lord in our personal lives and to serve Him in the power of the Holy Spirit here in Barrowby, Grantham, where God has placed us. We are looking to appoint a full-time or part-time pastor with a particular heart for youth work.
We are looking to build on a solid foundation created by the previous two pastors since the church was formed over 30 years ago. Over the years we have seen God's blessing in conversions, baptisms and growth in the Christian life. We minister to the community by means of children’s and young people's groups, and to the elderly in the village - both of these ministries are wonderful opportunities for outreach. This is complemented by many other ministries that happen throughout the life of the church (for example house groups and prayer meetings).
We are looking for a man or woman who has a clear calling from God.
Seek to live, in the power of the Holy Spirit, a life which reflects your commitment to God and relationship with Jesus as Saviour and Lord.
• Demonstrate a background in working with young people and be able to identify with different age groups.
• Have some experience or training in ministry.

In the early 1990s God gave to the membership of Grantham Baptist Church a vision of tongues of fire above the villages surrounding the town. Concluding that God wished them to move in a new way in these places, they established a daughter church in Barrowby in 1992; We believe we will continue to have opportunities to minister to our community and to influence other communities.
