To drive the development and strategy of quantum technology products aimed at solving complex, real-world problems in sectors such as security, manufacturing, and data processing. This role requires a blend of strategic leadership, market understanding, and a high-level grasp of emerging quantum applications, making it ideal for someone ready to bridge advanced technology with commercial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap Development: Define and execute a product roadmap for quantum solutions aligned with organizational goals. Identify key market opportunities for applications of quantum technology in industries like finance, aerospace, and pharmaceuticals, positioning the product for maximum impact.
  • Innovation & Market Trends: Stay abreast of advances in quantum technology, assessing market viability for technologies such as quantum-enhanced sensing, secure communication systems, and quantum computing solutions. Ensure product direction aligns with industry trends and anticipate future technology needs.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, engineering teams, and strategic partners. Translate customer needs into product features and solutions, ensuring the product delivers clear value and fits into larger market strategies.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Lead cross-functional initiatives involving research, engineering, and marketing to advance product objectives. Foster close collaboration with technical teams to define high-level requirements, timelines, and resource allocations, ensuring successful product rollout.
  • Market Positioning & Competitive Analysis: Analyze competitors and emerging market players in the quantum space to identify unique selling points for our product. Develop strategies to ensure our products are differentiated in the market and meet industry-specific demands for security, performance, and scalability.
  • Business Development Support: Work alongside the business development team to identify potential partnerships, funding opportunities, and client engagements that enhance the product’s reach and impact. Represent the company in discussions with key clients and partners to build credibility and showcase product value.

Core Competencies:

  • High-Level Quantum Knowledge: Familiarity with the strategic applications of quantum technology, such as quantum key distribution (QKD), quantum-enhanced sensors, and quantum data security solutions. While detailed technical expertise isn’t essential, understanding the market potential and high-level concepts of these technologies is crucial.

  • Quantum Computing Proficiency:

  • Quantum Algorithms & Quantum-Safe Cryptography:
  • Software & Cloud Integration: (e.g., AWS Braket, Microsoft Azure Quantum)

  • Industry Awareness: Knowledge of how quantum technology is transforming sectors such as aerospace, defense, finance, and pharmaceuticals. Ability to translate these market demands into actionable product strategies that resonate with industry needs.
  • Strategic Product Management: Proven experience in creating and executing product strategies within tech or advanced R&D fields. Ability to oversee the product lifecycle and lead initiatives from conception through launch, ensuring that all phases are aligned with business goals.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Demonstrated ability to prioritize customer needs, incorporating them into product development plans that drive user satisfaction and product adoption.
  • Partnership & Ecosystem Building: Experience working with a diverse set of partners and stakeholders to drive the product’s vision and market strategy. Ability to foster relationships that lead to new opportunities for product expansion and growth.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in Technology Management or Advanced R&D Fields: Experience in roles within innovative or technology-driven sectors, preferably with exposure to quantum technology, advanced computing, or emerging tech.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve shared goals.
  • Communication & Influence: Strong communication skills, able to clearly articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
