Job Description

  • Oversee the management and maintenance of all facilities.
  • Develop and implement facilities strategies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Direct, coordinate and plan essential services such as security, maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal and recycling.
  • Manage budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead, direct and manage the facilities team.
  • Participate in the coordination of space allocation and layout, communication systems and building projects.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts and service agreements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Facilities should have:

  • A qualification in Facilities Management.
  • Proven experience in facilities management within a large organisation.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and strategic planning abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
