IKEA Gateshead are looking for a Food Production Specialist Chef to help us deliver a taste of Sweden and a great customer experience with high quality, sustainable food. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people, an eagerness to learn and will embrace change with a solution-orientated approach to the many challenges and tasks that present themselves. We are looking for someone who:
Is service minded, sales driven and feel motivated working in a vibrant retail and food environment. Is self-reliant and self-motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independent Is passionate about ensuring that the food served is of the highest quality at all times Has an interest & knowledge of food Has a passion and desire to provide an excellent customer experience
Previous food operations experience is essential
CONTRACT INFORMATION
39 hours - 5 days over 7, working alternate weekendsContract type: permanent Salary from £27,000

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN IKEA FOOD PRODUCTION SPECIALIST (CHEF)

Cold side plate and cake production and preparation Hot food production and preparation Working in the Bistro Counter service and delivering excellent food quality in line with food safety policies.
