This is an exciting opportunity to join Company3 who provide Colour, Finishing and Sound Post-production on many prestigious UK and international productions from their base in Chancery Lane, London. You will be working as an integral member of the data operations team, supporting our longform and shortform post-production business.
QC of VFX and conform pulls.
Handle client and internal assets (i.e. hard drive copies onto / from SAN).
Efficiently transfer data within and outside the building, using different tools and platforms (i.e. Linux, Aspera, Signiant).
Hand over any remaining tasks to the rest of the team at the end of the shift, in a clear and concise manner.
Carry and complete tasks handed over by the previous shift.
Occasionally act as London Data IO point of contact internally, locally and globally (shift and staff availability dependent).
Maintaining best practices for content security and client confidentiality.
Experience of working as a Data IO Technician (pref)
Knowledge of Linux command line.
Knowledge of industry standard data transfer platforms (i.e. Basic understanding of networks and servers.
Basic understanding of digital camera formats (Arri, Red, Phantom etc.)
Flexible to work around customer and studio needs.
