TRADING UNDERWRITER - BRISTOL - £23K - £38K
Our client, a major name within financial services, are currently recruiting for an experienced Trading Underwriter to join their growing team.
As a Trading Underwriter you will report into the Trading Underwriting Team Manager and work alongside Senior and Assistant Trading Underwriters.
The Trading Underwriters are responsible for dealing with business partners on all aspects of their account, providing the partners with a bespoke service, but also getting involved in the underwriting of standard products . They will visit our business partners to negotiate renewals and rates, provide performance updates and pro-actively manage their insurance risk. As part of the role you will be required to occasionally demonstrate flexibility in the hours you work, it is a requirement of the role to occasionally spend time away from the office.
Exposure monitoring, analysis and interpretation, including the production of quarterly reviews and renewal packs
To take an active leadership role as part of the internal team when discussing the underwriting implications of the business partner and their insurance risks
