The successful applicant will join our expanding organisation as the Senior Environment Health and Safety Adviser (EHS), working from our offices in Blackburn or alterntively our newly refurbished offices at Aztec West in Bristol.
Undertake day-to-day Health & Safety activities in AEIL and associated partners.
Support Responsible Health & Safety Officers with their activities and respond to queries.
Maintain relevant HSEQ policies and procedures.
Support all business units with resolving any non-conformances relating to ISO9/14/45001.
Design and deliver continuous improvement projects.
Conduct and review risk assessments for all areas of the business activities.
Manage EHS risk register and legal register.
Ensuring legal compliance across all office sites with regards to national legislation.
High level of understanding of relevant health and safety legislation.
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the nuclear, transport infrastructure, rail, construction or energy services.
Proficient in Microsoft 365.
Willingness to travel to sites across the UK
French speaking would be desirable, but not essential
