The Data Analyst is responsible for turning large and complex data sets into meaningful insights that drive business decisions. The role requires a combination of technical and communication skills to effectively analyze, interpret and visualize data to uncover insights and support business decision-making

Collect and analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decisions.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and other data visualization tools to provide stakeholders with easy-to-understand insights.
the management of Power BI assets, including reports, dashboards, workspaces, and the underlying datasets that are used in the reports and dashboard
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions to support their use cases.
Develop and maintain predictive models to support forecasting and decision-making.
Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to support specific business initiatives and projects.
Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends in the data analytics field and recommend improvements to Client data analysis processes.
Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, using both written and verbal communication.

Essential
Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, and Power BI.
Experience with data processing technologies such as Apache Spark and Apache Flink.
Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and experience with programming languages such as Python, R, and SAS.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Passion for staying up-to-date with new technologies and trends in the data analytics field.
·Willingness to travel around the UK, across the estates as required for specific projects and generally

Ideal
At least 2 years of experience in a data analysis role.
Strong client facing / engagement experience
Experience of working in Shipping and Cargo handling, Oil and Gas and Specialty Trade Contract Handling is a preference
Good to have
Experience of working in Port or Logistics industry
