A Shropshire based food manufacturing company are looking to recruit a multi skilled Maintenance Shift Supervisor / Manager for their production facility based in Market Drayton. This company is seeing significant growth and development to become one of the leading food manufacturers in the UK As a Maintenance Shift Supervisor you will lead and manage your shift of 4 engineers who provide engineering support to the production area and are responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and any auxiliary systems.
Multi skilled with electrical and mechanical knowledge
~4 on 4 off Days and Night shifts (rotating)
~ Approx 70% on the tools and 30% office for paperwork and reports etc

Key responsibilities of Maintenance Shift Manager :

Ensure completion of planned maintenance documents / CMMS
Ensure all work competed by engineering team is documented in a daily shift report
Monitor, and approve time sheets for the team and perform general HR duties such as return to work interviews, investigations and individual 121 performance reviews.
Experience and skills required of Maintenance Shift Manager :

Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G's or NVQ Level 3 or ideally ONC / HNC level
Multi skilled, mechanical and electrical skills / experience
Apprenticeship trained
Proactive attitude to solving issues and supporting production
