Foundation Tutor

S Knights is currently seeking a Freelance Employability Tutor in Health and Social Care to join our client.

This exciting opportunity involves delivering a range of courses including the L1 Award in Adult Health and Social Care, L2 Certificate in Adult Health and Social Care, L1 Award in Mental Health Awareness, L1 Award in Stress Awareness, and L1 Extended Certificate in Employability.

The position spans 5 weeks, commencing from the 15th of April to the 17th of May, with face-to-face classes scheduled Monday to Friday. As an Employability Tutor, you will engage with a diverse cohort of learners, providing them with the necessary support and guidance to excel in their studies.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and informative Health and Social Care courses to learners, ensuring their success and progress

Provide personalised 1-to-1 support to learners, both during and outside of group sessions, to facilitate their learning journey

Maintain accurate administrative records, including registers and assignment marking, in a timely manner

Equip learners with essential skills, knowledge, and behaviors essential for successful course completion

Inspire and motivate learners by highlighting future opportunities within the care sector and beyond

Skills and Experience

Teaching qualification such as PTLLS, DTLLS, CTLLS, AET, or an equivalent certification

Demonstrated occupational experience in fields such as Adult Health and Social Care, Mental Health Awareness, Stress Awareness etc

Proven track record in delivering employability training as a Tutor

Willingness to undergo additional training as required to fulfill the responsibilities of the role
