Stock Condition Surveyor, Daventry

MAXIMISING FUTURES We’re on the hunt for a Stock Condition Surveyor who really knows what they are doing to expand our growing team. In return we’ll provide the perfect platform to showcase the skills you’ve gained in your career so far, supporting our mission to deliver ‘Great Places’, ‘Great Services’ and ‘Great Tomorrows’. You know what you’re doing. You don’t need (or want) your manager sat next to you, pre-approving every decision you make. Your manager is keen to learn from you, listen to your fresh perspective and different ways of doing things. Some ideas will work, some won’t: we’ll find out when we try. As well as your technical expertise, a major key to your success will be your communication skills, you know it’s not always what you tell a customer, but how. You’re also a real team player who’ll build great working relationships with the ability to confidently challenge when needed. A few key points from our role profile: Undertake property surveys and reports identifying key housing components lifetime on a five year rolling programme. To undertake domestic energy performance surveys. Capture data consistently in the agreed form and in accordance with agreed instruction. Prepare specifications, works schedules and work programs for projects, managing on site operations contractors and partners from start to completion. Ensure compliance of all relevant legislation and HS&E. So, what’s in it for me? If you’re successful, you’ll be joining a dynamic organisation with an amazing culture. We offer competitive benefits that include agile working. The flexibility you may need wherever possible, mileage, private healthcare options, discount schemes and with a big emphasis on health and well-being. You’ll have great opportunities to grow and develop, personally and professionally, but the greatest reward will be knowing you’re helping people and communities across our region to thrive. We’ve a state-of-the-art, flexible workspace so you’ll have both great people and a great environment around you. We’ll also provide you with the flexibility you need wherever possible, an agile kit and access to Touchdown Points where you can plug in to a workstation, catch up with colleagues and attend local meetings. We’re also proud to be awarded the coveted Investor in People Platinum award – the highest of IiP accreditation. The award recognises organisations which are passionate about making sure all employees get the best experience at work.
