To join a team of engineers working on a defined work programme based around Operator Environment (Cab) design and development, including new product introduction, warranty issue resolution and product improvements.
You will be part of a team delivering varied work programmes from concept to delivery – from specification, through analysis, concept design, testing and development, to engineering sign-off.
You will also assist to support in-house quality, manufacturing, and service teams in resolving complex technical issues arising because of warranty and / or issues that lead to engineering change as the permanent solution. You will be working to design and develop a robust product of world class quality.
Innovative design solution generation for New Product Introductions, Service fixes and product improvements, utilising simultaneous engineering (design for assembly manufacture and service). 
Design detailing, BOM compilation and drawing release.
Prototype build support and testing
Ownership and delivery of projects
Failure investigation and analysis, including introduction of containment and countermeasures.
Identification and implementation of cost reduction opportunities.
Formal design documentation creation, including DFMEA, DVPSOR (Test Reports) and technical extension reports.
Degree qualified in a mechanical engineering or similar discipline.
~ Experienced in the design of structural fabrications and preferably plastic mouldings.
~3D CAD system operation experience (NX preferable)
