Teaching Food Tech at KS3 and KS4
Bristol-based Secondary School

You must have relevant experience working with 11 - 16-year-olds within the last 2 years, and we must be able to obtain relevant references for this time. You should have a professional manner and a flexible attitude to working and timetable changes. Most importantly, you should be enthusiastic, engaging, and passionate about working with young people. Strong behaviour management and the ability to implement schools' behaviour polices is also essential.
Delivering engaging and creative Food Tech lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
Supporting, advising, guiding, and supervising students throughout the school day.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Food Technology.
Recent experience teaching Food Technology at secondary school level.
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
This is an opportunity to work in a secondary school with over 750 pupils in the Bristol area. The role is being advertised on a temporary basis but with the potential for this to be a long-term placement for the right candidate. You will be paid a competitive daily wage, based on your experience and the responsibilities of this assignment, plus you will accrue holiday pay with the option to take it at any point of the year.
