Job Description:

We are seeking a personable and motivated Junior Sales Engineer to join a well-established company in Stalybridge.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an engineering background who is eager to take their first step into sales engineering. With 90% of orders coming from repeat business, this role is a perfect role for someone who wants to start their career as a Sales Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and assist in preparing accurate and timely proposals for clients.
  • Log and create control sheets to manage project progress and client interactions.
  • Assemble drawing packs to support the engineering and sales teams in delivering client requirements.
  • Check stock levels and ensure that all necessary materials are available for upcoming orders.
  • Create and issue quotations based on customer needs and project specifications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Participate in training sessions to develop your technical knowledge and sales skills.

Qualifications:

  • Educational background in engineering
  • A positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
