We are continually developing our website with new seeds , blogs mail order kits and herb boxes , in 2023 we are running the second Jekka's HerbFest and we are building a large culinary and medicinal Herb Garden at the herb farm in South Gloucestershire. As part of a small team you will work on a large variety of tasks including developing and using skills in propagation of an ever expanding herb collection, to working with leading landscapers growing for their RHS Chelsea gardens. Jekka's is unique in the fact that we propagate and sow most of our collection of over 400 culinary & medicinal herbs on our farm in South Gloucestershire (see how to find us here ).

Office Manager
Jekka’s, a renowned leader in the growing and use of herbs, is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as an Office Manager, crucial to the seamless operation of our herb farm. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for a wide array of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Handling incoming phone calls and addressing customer inquiries.
- Managing product inventory and ensuring stock control.
- Supporting marketing efforts on platforms like Shopify, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Managing farm collections and liaising with customers.
- Coordinating contract grow requirements with landscape gardeners and designers.
- Performing seed packing and cleaning as required.
- To excel in this role, you should possess the following:
-Experience with Xero, our accounting software.
- Previous involvement in the horticultural industry.
- Experience in event planning and execution.
A full-time position requiring 39 hours per week but open to discussing reduced & flexible hours for the right candidate. Contract: This position is permanent.

Full-time Senior Horticulturist
This is a full-time role for a professional and experienced horticulturalist.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading UK herb nursery and to help oversee the entire growing production. The horticultural team are dedicated to the care and maintenance of our very wide variety of herbs. Day to day tasks vary with the seasons and the applicant needs to be both flexible and adaptable to meet the requirements of the farm. Typical tasks include maintaining the stock levels through propagation and ensuring the herbs are correctly maintained by watering, cleaning and controlling pest and disease.
- A passion for herbs and working outdoors (all year round) is essential;
- Strong experience in propagation, potting and watering;
- Previous experience in managing a commercial nursery (or equivalent);
- RHS level 3 or equivalent;
- Working hours:39 hours per week and must be prepared to be flexible to meet operational and visitor requirements.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Handyperson & Gardener to join our team and support the development of some exciting projects at Jekka's.
Day to day tasks will vary and the applicants needs to be both flexible and adaptable to meet the requirements of the farm. Maintenance and development of the private garden;
- Practical skills, including strimming, mowing, painting and general building maintenance,
- Flexible and willing to pick up new tasks to support the wider team;
- 5t van;
- Working on a horticultural nursery / herb farm;
