Job Title: English Graduate Academic Coach
Contract: Focus: English Literature & Language support though KS3 & KS4
About the School: The school believe in fostering a love for English and literature among their students. They're a well-respected secondary school, known for its inclusive and supportive learning environment. As an English Graduate Academic Coach, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our students to develop excellent communication skills, a deep appreciation for literature, and the confidence to express themselves effectively. Working closely with students on an individual basis and in small groups, you will provide targeted support to enhance their English language proficiency and academic performance.
Conducting one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions to reinforce English language skills and literary analysis.
Collaborating with teachers to develop creative and engaging English lessons that cater to individual learning needs.
Monitoring and tracking students' progress, offering constructive feedback to both educators and parents.
Organising and participating in extracurricular activities related to English language and literature.
Assisting in the creation of teaching materials and resources to support the English curriculum.
Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages a passion for English.
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in English, English Literature, or a related field.
A genuine love for English language, literature, and a keen interest in sharing that enthusiasm with young learners.
Patient, empathetic, and committed to helping students succeed academically and personally.
