Based in our Academic & Creative Studies Department, we are looking for an enthusiastic, suitably qualified individual to lead on the development, delivery and teaching of our T Level Science courses. As well as being an inspiring lecturer with the ability to enable all learners to reach their true potential, you will hold an appropriate subject qualification to degree level along with a Level 5 teaching qualification such as the Diploma in Education and Training (formerly DTLLS) or equivalent.
This is a full-time position across both our Newcastle & Stafford sites. The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching on science based courses which could include the T Level in Science, Btec Level 3 Science and/or an A Level science. The ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate experience of leading and developing science based programmes. Deliver a flexible and innovative curriculum that is responsive to feedback from current learners and anticipates likely changes in demand from future learners.
Undertake the day-to-day co-ordination of staff within the course team so that the College can achieve its overall objective of being excellent in all areas.
Has a detailed knowledge and understanding of current teaching practice within the curriculum area of Btec Science and T Level Science.
