Behaviour Support Location: Grantham Salary: £75 - £95 per day Start Date: Immediate GSL Education are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support specialist to join our partnered school in Grantham. This role demands a proactive individual committed to assisting students in overcoming behavioural challenges and achieving their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Implementing behaviour management strategies to support a positive learning environment. Working closely with students to identify triggers and develop coping mechanisms. Liaising with teachers, SENCO, and parents to provide consistent support to students. Documenting progress and any incidents to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each student's needs. Contributing to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students requiring tailored support. Requirements: Previous experience in a behaviour support role within a school setting. A strong understanding of the strategies effective in managing challenging behaviours. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students positively. Resilience and patience, coupled with a creative approach to problem-solving. Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field are desirable.
