Fareham Copello are pleased to be partnered with a world leading consulting and technology business in the recruitment for System Installation Engineers to join their team in Fareham. These opportunities are open to Junior Engineers or Graduates looking to accelerate their career by working on major transformation and upgrade programmes for Air Traffic Management solutions. With full training on offer at the clients head office in Spain, the System Installation Engineers will be joining the UK Radar Engineering team working on new radar sites, upgrades and refurbishments, systems installation as well as related infrastructures all around the UK. Day to day duties will include;

  • Internal and external customer engagement and management
  • Input into meetings with clients and team members to plan projects and determine requirements
  • Plan and schedule management of works
  • Execute installation acceptance tests
  • Commissioning of electrical systems installed
  • Execute ancillary systems commissioning
  • Produce and understand operational and test procedures
  • Inspect systems and equipment
  • Test systems for safety and ensure systems are well-maintained and oversee upgrades / repairs
  • Draft and update drawings and documentation
This opportunity will be suitable for candidates with a BSc OR BEng in Engineering (telecommunications, aerospace, aviation, physics, electronics etc). The role will be based in Whiteley, with regular travel around the UK (varying from 1 week to 3 months). All travel and expenses will be covered.
