An opportunity for all ADR drivers

Our client, a reputable medical waste collection company based in Wandsworth, is seeking a diligent and responsible Van Driver with an ADR certificate (Class 6) to join their team. This role involves the collection of sealed medical waste packages from residential areas around Central London, ensuring the safe transportation of hazardous materials.

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 10 hours a day with 1 hour lunch.
  • Start time 06:00 to 07:00. Start time might vary depending on the day, Candidate should be able to start earlier if required. (Transport is provided)

Rates of Pay:

  • Monday to Friday 16 per hour PAYE.
  • Overtime 19 an hour for all hours worked after 50 hours a week.
  • Saturday 19 an hour for all hours worked when required only.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a 3.5-ton van for the collection of medical waste packages from residential houses.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, particularly concerning the transportation of hazardous materials.
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules for collection, ensuring efficient service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the van.

Requirements:

  • Valid ADR Packages Class 6.
  • Prior experience in driving commercial vehicles.
  • Valid clean UK driving license with no points.
  • Ability to work early morning shifts when required.
  • Commitment to safety.
  • Ability to start beginning of April.
