Trainee Mortgage Advisor ( Graduate Opportunity)

This opppurtinity allows you to start career in broking. You will be put through your CEMAP qualification meaning you will be able to advise on mortgages.

Full time offoced based in Barry, Cardiff

Salary is £23k + comission

Responsibilities within this Sales advisor role:

* The development of new business, via methods such as canvassing, outbound and inbound telemarketing.

* Build up a broker database and maintain good relationships accordingly.

* To maintain a competent level of understanding of mainstream lender’s underwriting policies and procedures.

* Sales processing and accurate data entry.

* Submission of timely and accurate application packs.

* Adherence to quality and compliance standards.

* To assist the Specialist Mortgage Advisor at the applicable stages of the sales process.

* To understand the boundaries and procedures of what is permitted in terms of providing the customer advice (which is not permitted)

* To pay high regard to Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations including Treating Customers Fairly Principles.

* Encourage and maintain a high level of customer service and excellence.

* To pay particular attention to ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information.

* To always behave in a positive and professional manner when representing the company.

* To follow all company policies and procedures.

Qualities the company possess for this Sales Advisor role:

* Sales experience in a busy office environment.

* Outbound sales experience (telephone experience)

* Account management.

* IT literacy

* Ability to demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills

* Fast and accurate data entry

* Effective Customer Care Skills

* Excellent interpersonal skills

* Impeccable telephone manner and tone

* Effective organisational skills

* The capacity to work as part of a team

* An ability to work in own initiative and meet set timescales
