Role: Contract Commercial Procurement Specialist Location: Hybrid, nearly all remote working + Oxfordshire Head Office as required
Strategic and complex purchasing strategies experience, MCIPS, IACCM or equivalent professional qualifications, Senior Procurement experience in a Public Sector setting etc.

A public Sector organisation with responsibility for National Security and Public Safety.

These are Senior Procurement Specialist Contract roles where you will be responsible for providing authoritative advice to Financial and Operational Board members on complex strategic and operational commercial matters in this high-profile Public-Sector organisation. Taking professional ownership of particularly complex / high risk commercial undertakings.Designing and implementing commercial strategies for programmes of work with a particular focus on intricate commercial methodologies.

5+ years’ experience delivering strategic support in Senior level procurement role(s)
~ Professional Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS Professional Qualification) & IACCM or equivalent professional qualifications
~ Significant senior level experience of leading challenging commercial undertakings in the Public Sector.
~ Significant experience of successfully negotiating and managing complex contracts with an advanced understanding of prevailing procurement law.
~ The ability to deliver effective commercial strategies, in a timely fashion, to diverse customers whilst operating within a complex regulatory environment.
~ The ability to design and deliver relevant, modern commercial strategies, policy and procedures complaint with Government requirements.
~ You MUST be a full time Resident of the UK and have the right to work in the UK without the need for VISA sponsorship.
