We are seeking to appoint a Pastoral and Inclusion Support Officer to support the pastoral needs of students as required. The primary objective is to ensure each student receives a consistent and positive experience at whatever stage of their journey through the school. You will also be required to undertake first aid training.
The key responsibilities of the role will be to support students with social, emotional and behavioural needs; liaise with and support parents of more vulnerable students; improve attendance of pupils with low attendance; to organise activities that support the educational and social development of identified pupils; to address the needs of pupils who require support to overcome barriers to learning both inside and outside of school.
Have experience of working in a school;
·Have experience and knowledge of issues affecting students and young people and how to offer supportive assistance
·Training and development opportunities will be offered.All staff are encouraged to study further, and the trust will actively support staff to obtain relevant further qualifications where possible.
