Asset Strategist

Our client, a prestigious global asset manager is looking to hire a quantitative focused research analyst to join the Multi-Asset Investment team.
The purpose of this role is to generate cutting-edge research that will feed into the investment process, particularly on medium/long term thematic drivers. All the research produced is practitioner-driven rather than academic providing useful investment insight.
Translate market and investments views into testable quantitative hypotheses to provide insightful research for the Multi-Asset team
Collaborate with Portfolio Managers to support the asset allocation research efforts
Relevant experience in a high-quality working environment in finance, government or central bank
Flexible on background but demonstrable evidence of substantial prior work in econometrics
Strong academic credentials; Proficient programming experience in Python or R
Interest in applying mathematical and statistical concepts to real world financial problems
Creative thinker with ability to generate ideas and stimulate discussions using a quantitative approach
Ability to be a team player in a collegial and collaborative working culture
