The role - Head of Music - Southwark

To be responsible for guiding the development and innovation of teaching and learning in the Music Department across the School.
It is your aim to provide high quality, inspiring and creative lessons that meet the needs of all the children and enhance each child's enthusiasm and potential in a way that meets their individual
The aim of the program is to promote the performance of music as well as co-curricular activities on a regular basis. It is the responsibility of the Music Department to ensure that the Music curriculum is creative, innovative, aspirational and contains clearly differentiated schemes of work. Assisting the group in planning, organising, and delivering musical performances across a range of ages.
To arrange School trips and competitions relevant to Music, across all year groups as appropriate.
Assist in the promotion of music throughout the school, and organize and deliver an innovative programme of co-curricular activities, such as choirs and musical ensembles, throughout the school.
Assist in the development of young talents and abilities in music by identifying and nurturing those students who have these traits.The school - Head of music Teacher - Southwark

It is a goal that is achieved through outstanding teaching within a curriculum which encourages and celebrates the gifts and talents of each student as reflected in the curriculum. The school are currently seeking an experienced Music teacher to become the head of Music in the upcoming academic year.
