About Our Client

Our client support young people aged 11-19 with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) whose needs range from Autistic Spectrum Condition and ADHD in a nurturing environment.

Job Description

  • Support with the day-to-day management of the school
  • Demand ambitious standards for all pupils, instilling a strong sense of accountability in staff for the impact of their work on pupil outcomes
  • Create an outward-facing school which works with other schools and organisations to secure excellent outcomes for all pupils
  • Implement a full enrichment programme across the school
  • Monitoring progress towards the achievement of the school's aims and objectives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Headteacher at our SEN Specialist School should have:

  • A recognised teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience in SEN education and leadership.
  • A deep understanding of SEN policy and practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and pupil achievement.
  • The ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a team.
