About Our Client
Our client support young people aged 11-19 with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) whose needs range from Autistic Spectrum Condition and ADHD in a nurturing environment.
Job Description
- Support with the day-to-day management of the school
- Demand ambitious standards for all pupils, instilling a strong sense of accountability in staff for the impact of their work on pupil outcomes
- Create an outward-facing school which works with other schools and organisations to secure excellent outcomes for all pupils
- Implement a full enrichment programme across the school
- Monitoring progress towards the achievement of the school's aims and objectives.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Headteacher at our SEN Specialist School should have:
- A recognised teaching qualification.
- Proven experience in SEN education and leadership.
- A deep understanding of SEN policy and practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to inclusive education and pupil achievement.
- The ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a team.
