Are you a dedicated GP seeking a rewarding role in a vibrant, supportive environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a GP to join a dynamic and well-established surgery in Skipton, North Yorkshire. Position Overview:

  • Salary: Up to £10,500 per session (flexible based on experience)
  • Sessions: 6 sessions per week (preferred days: Tuesday and Friday, flexibility available)
  • Appointment Length: 15 minutes per patient
  • List Size: Approximately 15,000 patients
  • Team Structure:
    • 6 Partners
    • 8 Salaried GPs
    • 4 Practice Nurses
    • 5 Healthcare Assistants (HCAs)
    • In-house Mental Health Support, Physiotherapist, and Pharmacist
Key Features:
  • System: SystmOne
  • Location: Town centre site with limited on-site parking; additional parking options nearby
  • Visa Sponsorship: Available for suitable candidates
  • Flexible Working Hours: Includes a mix of face-to-face and telephone consultations
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide a combination of face-to-face and telephone consultations
  • Participate in home visits on a rota basis (with Advanced Clinical Practitioners also handling a share of visits)
  • Undertake duty days on a rota basis
  • Deliver one extended access session per week (3 pm - 8 pm), with a later start time of 10 am on this day
