Expressions of Interest - Learn to Swim Teachers

Are you interested in becoming a Learn to SwimTeacher ?

If you have an interest in teaching, a passion for swimming andenjoy working with kids, we want to hear from you

Here at the Lauriston Swim School, our Learn to Swim instructorsare responsible for delivering structured in water classes forchildren aged 4-15 years old, focusing on water safety and strokedevelopment.

To be successful in the role, you will have the followingexperience and qualifications:

  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety
  • CPR Certificate
  • Working With Children Check
  • Experience in instructing LTS programs and delivering skillspecific lesson plans is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate avariety of aquatic skills to children of all abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer services skills

First Aid qualifications are looked upon favorably, but notessential.

You would be able to complete your AUSTSWIM observational hourshere at the Lauriston pool, with a high prospect for ongoingemployment.

This role requires an Employee Working with Children Check
