Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a renewable energy provider with a commitment to professional development and sustainability to recruit a Senior Plant Engineer for its Anaerobic Digestion site in South West Wales. The strategically important Senior Plant Engineer role comes with a salary of up to £40,000 for the right person, pension and flexible working options. Responsibilities and duties Reporting to the AD Manager you will: Take responsibility for all mechanical and electrical maintenance and engineering works across the plant whilst planning PPM's and ensuring maximum efficiency at all times Liaise directly with suppliers getting quotes for required works across the site. Maintain all plant and equipment across the site, including pumps, SCADA systems, heat exchangers, motors etc. Providing out of hours servicing or repair works as and when required. Work closely with the AD Manager and Ops Manager in leading various projects around the site which could vary from design works, sourcing new equipment, building etc. Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: Experience of working within either Anaerobic Digestion, Water Treatment, Food Processing or a similar environment Previous leadership experience Experience of having control over a plant including all maintenance and engineering Knowledge and experience of stripping pumps and maintaining various plant and equipment Personal skills The Senior Plant Engineer role would suit someone who is: Around 40 minutes maximum away from the site and happy for a call out rota Experienced in working within mucky environments Happy to get stuck in with other team members on the plant Salary and benefits of the Senior Plant Engineer role Up to £40,000 for the right candidate Flexible working arrangements including days off in lieu Bonus scheme Development opportunities INDREN Astute Technical Recruitment Limited are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
