As the Process Manager, you will be required to provide high-level technical leadership and expertise, managing and developing ateam to deliver agreed programmes of work, enabling the development of innovative biotechnological approaches & processes that can help CPI to make make products which are more sustainable and environmentally responsible. To deliver projects according to the agreed asset and resource plans, contracted deliverables, and the agreedscope
To input and document the project lessons learnt process and maximise learning from all projects during and after the execution, inputting the technical lessons learned into the internal review. To have in-depth understanding of the pilot and demonstration facilities and understand the limitations of processing in theseareas
To utilise scale-up expertise and experience to design processes that can be transferred into CPI plant facilities and with this highlight potential issues and solutions in early process development.
To provide scientific support to delivery teams and support scientists for successful project delivery
To address quality, safety and process management during technical transfer to always deliver the most efficient and cost effective procedures for the business and CPI customers
To plan projects and execute through excellent organisation and communication skills, liaising with Technical Lead and/or customer to ensure process development details are captured accurately to facilitate robust technical transfer
To deliver presentations and provide reports and articles for atargeted range of audiences to raise awareness of CPI ’s capabilities, meet our public sector targets and attract further customers to the facilities
To Collate data for KPI measurements and be responsible for completion of non-conformance register
It is essential that educated to Degree level (or equivalent) in aScientific/Engineering discipline plus relevant industrial experience at asenior level. Hold excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish agood rapport with project teams, customers from an early stage and to develop astrong and constructive relationship with the deliveryteam
Hold good resilience during pressures of project delivery
Can demonstrate evidence of building knowledge sharing and network building practice across teams and organisations to achieve desired results.
Can take responsibility for diverse or complex technical activities where it is necessary to use own initiative and judgement, implementing innovative solutions in business critical situations.
Hold sound experience of supervising agroup or team within an operational environment and experience of managing performance within theteam
Experience of transferring knowledge and processes to alarge scale facility is desirable.
