Travel: This role is primarily site based on sites located across the Severn Trent Water region.

Anderselite are recruiting for an Electrical Site Supervisor to join our client’s MEICA team to deliver innovative and challenging projects covering a diverse portfolio of MEICA and Civil works. You will work on our Severn Trent Water Frameworks within our UK delivery team, experienced in successfully delivering schemes of varying sizes to the Water Industry, across both Treatment Waste and Water schemes.

High levels of motivation and resilience, together with strong technical, quality control, and organizational skills are essential for this role. The candidate will have a proven track record as an Electrical Site Supervisor. They will demonstrate integrity, a hard-working ethic, be target-focused, and embrace the challenges and changes within the industry. The Electrical Site Supervisor will play a key role in supporting a team culture within their team and as part of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the Site Agent, Project Manager and MEICA Manager to supervise external sub-contractors.
  2. Ensure compliance with Coffey’s HSQE policies and Electrical Safety Rules.
  3. Act as Electrical Authorised Person on site and liaise with Severn Trent Water.
  4. Develop and review Risk Assessments, Method Statements.
  5. Comply with all relevant Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Safe Systems of Work Plans.
  6. Record the progress of works, inspect incoming materials, and assist in planning work activities.
  7. Carry out toolbox talks and daily briefs, induct onsite personnel and subcontractors.
  8. Ensure certifications and records are maintained, defects are repaired promptly, and PPE is worn correctly.
  9. Report accidents, incidents, and dangerous occurrences.
  10. Maintain good housekeeping, implement emergency plans, and liaise with safety officers.
  11. Apply industry best practices, work collaboratively, and promote new ideas.
  12. Other duties as needed.
Desirable Experience and Qualifications:
  • Relevant qualifications (ONC/HNC/equivalent – electrical or ICA) or extensive proven experience.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role within the utilities sector and/or M&E engineering environment.
  • Experience of electrical installations in water and wastewater treatment sector.
  • Experience of working to electrical procedures and providing Electrical Permits.
  • Experience with LV electrical switchgear, motor control centers, control systems, and telemetry.
  • Experience with industrial low voltage electrical installations and awareness of High Voltage installations.
  • ECS CARD and EUSR, SSSTS/SMSTS, First Aid.
  • Flexibility in travel and location within Severn Trent Water region.
  • Mechanical awareness and training would be an advantage.
