Salary: £25,500 fte
Hours: 18.25 per week (2.5 days)
Reporting to the Co-Director Programmes and Partnerships and responsible for a portfolio of projects you will be responsible for all the operational management aspects of project management and delivery, ensuring that projects and work-streams are delivered within the agreed requirements, embedding co-production principles and ensuring that reporting is gathered and completed on a timely basis. One key project is Better Together.
The Better Together project offers a collaborative approach, by working with local people to build social capital, reduce health inequalities and support healthier lifestyles across East and North East Leeds – using creativity and the arts as a tool to engage. Space2 supports community development by delivering a range of activities such as gardening, physical activity sessions, chat and create groups and one to one sessions. All of the work supports local people taking part by exploring their current situation using wellbeing wheels, one-to-one social connecting sessions and peer support as part of group work.
We are looking for an experienced project manager, who is versatile, highly organised, positive and motivated. You should possess strong organisational, communication and leadership skills. You will be values driven, work as part of a team, committed to social change and believe in the arts as a vehicle for change. You will need plenty of initiative and drive, have good communication skills, able to operate under pressure, prioritise, and have experience of developing relationships with individuals and organisations. Experience of using database systems and Microsoft computer programmes.
