Are you looking to join one of the UK's top accountancy firms, then please do not look any further. Our client is looking for an Audit Assistant Manager to join their award-winning service. You will be joining a top 10 accountancy firm and be joining a successful Audit Team. Responsibilities:

  • Undertake diverse audit assignments with high technical competence, autonomy, and adherence to budget and client expectations
  • Comply with the firm's operating procedures for consistent, high-quality output
  • Regularly communicate with managers, Principals, and colleagues on work progress
  • Complete tasks timely and cost-effectively, meeting deadlines and budgets for excellent output and good fee recovery
  • Train, mentor, and supervise junior team members, supporting their growth
  • Facilitate teamwork and foster a positive team spirit
  • Handle 70-80% audit work and 20-30% ad hoc projects at a senior level
Qualifications Required:
  • Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA)
  • Demonstrable audit experience in the UK market within a professional services firm
  • Experience with planning, undertaking, and completing various audit assignments under FRS 102
  • Experience with statutory audit assignments compliant with ISAs
  • Experience in drafting and finalising corporation tax computations for various companies
  • Ability to monitor costs against budget for clients
Desired:
  • Experience with accounts assignments under FRS 102 Section 1A and FRS 105 of varying sizes and complexity
  • Exposure to IFRS
  • Exposure to specialist audit assignments
