Fashion technician

HSDC is seeking to appoint a reliable and caring Technician at our Havant Campus to work as part of the Fashion & Textiles team within the College’s Art department, providing technical support to staff and students.
Contract type: Fixed-term until August 2025 or return of substantive postholder
To organise daily activities within the learning environment, including the preparation of teaching resources and housekeeping
For specific departments this may include work placements and instructing/directing of students.
To undertake reviews of health and safety policies and procedures in the workplace and undertake risk assessments.
Clean and maintain working spaces, develop working environment, provide technical support and assistance for projects.
Relevant industrial/subject experience.
A Level 2 qualification in the relevant subject area or relevant industry experience is desirable.
