SFS UK - Division Construction currently has an opportunity for a Technical Advisor to join our team in Welwyn Garden City. Develop new ideas and strategies to improve departmental performance
• Be an active member of the team to help challenge and change the way SFS provide technical support to increase our value added and service leveraging smart tools/solutions
• Be the centre of technical knowledge for our product range and application which underpins our commercial activity and know-how
Answering incoming Technical Queries received by phone or email for all UK revenue streams • Provide technical support/advice to the Customer Services department
• Assist/conduct practical internal product testing
• Assist/deliver where appropriate customer training and demonstrations for all UK revenue streams e.g. Flat Roofing, Roofing & Cladding, Sub Frame and Fall Protection
• Assist with all UK owned product line testing requirements - Sub Frame & Fall Protection
• Report and investigate any product complaints, this may include site visits
• Assisting in any other ad hoc duties required when they arise
• Work as a collective unit covering absence and supporting others
• Capable of using numerous computer packages including Microsoft office
• Appreciation and understanding of CAD software
