Provide Education is seeking reliable and dedicated School Caretakers to join our team for both full-time and casual positions at primary schools in [XXXXXXX] - change As a School Caretaker, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and overall condition of the school environment, ensuring a welcoming space for staff and students.

Grounds Maintenance: Ensure the school grounds are safe, tidy, and well-maintained.

* Cleaning Duties: Perform general cleaning tasks, ensuring classrooms, hallways, and communal areas are spotless and ready for the school day.

* Security: Open and lock up the school premises, managing security measures to keep the site secure during off-hours.

* Identify and report any maintenance, safety, or security issues using the school’s IT system. Handle basic maintenance tasks like fixing doors, changing lightbulbs, and managing school equipment.

* Teamwork: Work closely with school staff to ensure the smooth operation of the school and grounds.

IT Skills: Able to log and report issues through the school's system.

* Ideal candidates will have experience working in a school environment. However, we welcome applicants from varied backgrounds including site supervisors, project managers, handypersons, health and safety officers, and maintenance professionals.

Flexible Work Options: Choose between long-term, full-time work or casual, short-term assignments that fit around your schedule.

* Be part of a friendly and supportive team working across multiple primary schools.

All candidates will be subject to reference and DBS checks.

* Candidates must have an Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
