Secondary Humanities Teacher needed Position: Secondary Humanities Teacher Location: Mixed High School, Liverpool Start Date: Full time after the May half term Pay Rate: £150 - £180 daily Contract: Full time until the end of the school year, with the potential for permanent placement from September Integra Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Humanities Teacher to join a mixed high school in Liverpool. This is a full-time position starting after the May half term, continuing until the end of the school year, with the potential to become a permanent role from September. About the Role: As a Secondary Humanities Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching a diverse and engaging curriculum that includes Geography, History, and Religious Education (RE) to students across various year groups up to Key Stage 5. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Planning and Delivering Lessons: Design and implement engaging and effective lessons in Geography, History, and RE that meet the needs of all students and adhere to the national curriculum.
- Student Assessment: Regularly assess and evaluate students' progress through a variety of methods, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Supporting Exam Preparation: Assist students in preparing for their exams, including providing revision sessions, practice exams, and targeted support to ensure they achieve their best possible results.
- Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.
- Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues within the Humanities department and across the school to share best practices, resources, and support each other's professional development.
- Extracurricular Activities: Contribute to the wider school community by participating in extracurricular activities, school events, and trips that enhance the students' learning experience.
- School Environment: You will be working within an Ofsted rated GOOD secondary school, known for its supportive and collaborative atmosphere, and strong emphasis on both academic and personal development.
