Manpower is currently looking for Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator to start work ASAP for our successful manufacturing client based in Pocklington.
As part of our Fabrication Team, you will be responsible for producing components that form the basis of all the companies products. You will use a variety of hand and power tools as well as large equipment, predominantly the CNC Press Brake using sheet metal practices to fabricate sheet metal pieces to a high standard, and preparing them for Powder Coating. The use of MIG & TIG Welding is also required.
Good Knowledge and Experience of Sheet Metal practices.
* Experience of MIG and TIG Welding
* Programming and Running Press Brake
Setting and Operating CNC Press Brakes (AMADA), using welding machine.
Setting and Operating machinery (Press Brake, Rollers, PEMserter, Pillar Drill etc)
MIG & TIG Welding Mild Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium parts
Ensure Quality of parts, and check against Drawings
Inform the Workshop Manager when materials are running low
Preparing parts for Powder Coating
