Do you possess the skills to support positive behaviour in a school setting? If so, GSL Education is looking for a dedicatedBehaviour Support Assistant to join a school in Basingstoke.
As aBehaviour Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in promoting positive behaviour and fostering a supportive learning environment for students. This includes supporting with their education, but also their holistic development, such as students' communication, social skills and independence.
Providing one-on-one support to students with behavioural challenges.
Collaborating with the school's SENCO and other professionals to create tailored intervention plans.
Supporting the overall well-being of students and contributing to a positive school ethos.
Relevant experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
Understanding of behaviour management strategies and their application in a school environment.
A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
Relevant qualifications in education or psychology would be advantageous.
To work with GSL Education, you need:
