Full Time Contract ( 18 months long)Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Business Support Change Lead in Preston. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours. The employer can offer hybrid working.The job:

  • On behalf of the Resources Directorate and alongside the Senior Leadership Team, shape and lead the direction and implementation of the organisation-wide Business Support functional operating model (including transition of the key capabilities)
  • Develop and implement suitable business transformation strategies to respond to internal and external drivers, challenge existing practice and identify new and better ways of working in order to accelerate Business Support
  • Lead on the development of strategies, guidance and procedures to develop the quality and consistency of working practice and to lead specific areas of service development
  • Establish and monitor Business Support service propositions and key performance measures for all business support functions and activities, in line with customer demands
  • To provide motivational and effective leadership and strategic management

The candidate:

  • Proven experience of the ability to create solutions that will provide a fresh and novel perspective and deliver the best business results for the organisation

  • Ability to apply radical thinking on how things could be done better, simpler or more effectively

  • Ability to apply logic and problem-solving skills to resolve complex problems
