The Senior Technologist plays a critical role in advancing engineering projects and ensuring the successful implementation of innovative technologies within the company. This position is responsible for leading technical initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting the development and enhancement of systems (typical similar industries kilns, furnaces, recycling, thermal processing, energy recovery, nuclear) while advising the sales team on customer projects to ensure alignment with company capabilities.
Customers, Suppliers & Vendors, Regulatory Bodies, Industry Experts
Internal: Engineering Team incl. Installation & Commissioning Engineers, Sales and Marketing, and Operations Personnel
Assisting in the preparation and management of project budgets related to technology development and implementation.
Lead and participate in the design and development of technologies (typical similar industries kilns, furnaces, recycling, thermal processing, energy recovery, nuclear), ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to advise on customer projects, ensuring alignment with company capabilities and technical feasibility.
Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments to support project decisions.
Collaborate with internal teams to define project specifications and requirements.
Mentor design engineers and our field engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications (technical datasheets), development testing protocols, and project reports.
Facilitate training sessions and workshops for internal teams and customers to enhance understanding of products and technologies.
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, or a related field).
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a technology or engineering role.
Strong understanding of processes and associated technologies (typical similar industries kilns, furnaces, recycling, thermal processing, energy recovery, nuclear).
Proven experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
