Serve as one of the main points of contact for the business in regard to Data Protection queries.
Provide expert advice and educate employees on important data compliance requirements.
Manage and maintain the dedicated Operational Data Protection mailbox and general enquiries.
Cooperate and support the DPO team on all things Data Protection
Shown experience of data protection compliance work, preferably in a large organisation.
Excellent understanding of UK and EU data protection law and Regulations and their application in practice.
Experience of crafting and delivering practical compliance tools & guidance.
Ability to translate legal and Regulatory obligations into practical advice.
Experience with any of the following will help you to stand out but are not crucial in order to apply;
Certificate in Data Protection e.g. PDP Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection (GPDR); BCS Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection
This team is part of BOI UK's Data, Digital & Strategic Reporting (DDAS) function. DDAS centralises Data, Digital & Analytics specialists and enables simplification, standardisation and sharing of standard process and insight development. We are a first line function whose role is to enable, guide, provide expertise and direction in all aspects of operational data protection activity across BOIUK.
