Assurance Officer (PAT Testing) Grade E (£12.02 per hour - pay award pending)
5 hours per week - Term Time Only - & 2 additional weeks in the school holidays.
NYES Cleaning (North Yorkshire Council) provides responsive, high quality and reliable cleaning and caretaking services ensuring that sites are kept clean, secure and well-maintained on a day-to-day basis.
We currently provide Cleaning Service to approximately 220 schools across North Yorkshire and Redcar and Cleveland. We require an enthusiastic and well organised person to undertake PAT Testing of our cleaning machinery across our schools.
The role will be largely working in the field, independently, and as such you will be required to organise your daily visits in advance with schools and cleaning staff, ensuring access and the required machinery is available, whilst taking appropriate steps to minimise driving time and mileage.
You will be required to undertake minor repairs to machinery, such as fitting new cables and plugs for which full training would be given. You will be required to share your work schedule and rota with management and produce basic reports of tasks undertaken, including repairs and any issues encountered, as well as maintaining an equipment inventory/asset register for each site.
You will be provided with a NYC vehicle, laptop, smartphone, PAT Tester and the basic tools required to undertake the role.
The hours can be worked over 3 days per week through mutual agreement.
