With a culture to be proud of, the Operations Manager is looking for an additional Production Manager to support 6 Team Leaders and a group of 5 each shift.
Leads change management initiatives for the production area.
* Manage the production area and drives efficiencies in line with goals in the triad of quality - on-time delivery - costs.
* Coordinates cooperation among all functions/individuals/resources involved throughout the process chain (supplier to customer) to ensure that production flows smoothly.
* Together with the Team Leader he pays attention where personnel measures are needed (from training to labour law measures)
* Is a driver of Lean transformation, using Lean methods
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate previous successful project management around change, industrial manufacturing exposure as well as an accomplished management style. Computer literate, sound knowledge of EHS and lean manufacturing knowledge would be essential
