As an M&A Finance Integration/ Finance Transformation Project Manager, you will work directly with finance and ops leadership from acquisitions and manage the broad spectrum of finance, from the finance life cycle to the commercial structuring of the acquisitions. You will also gain insight into and an understanding of the acquired company's operational environment and create the plan as to how this would fit within the cognizant ecosystem with minimal disruption to the business.
To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
- Provide the initial point of contact for communication between Cognizant and acquired finance
- Collaborate across all functions and business to ensure integration alignment
- Assess the financial controls in place (e.g AP, gifts, treasury)
- Define integration scope and timeline
- Manage integration phases: Discovery, Documentation, Gap Analysis, Plan, Execution
To apply for this M&A Finance Integration/Finance Transformation Project Manager role, you will need an understanding of the finance life cycle and experience in FP&A/ finance projects (transformation) and knowledge of US GAAP and some understanding of differences with local GAAPs. You will also require the following:
- Experience in/understanding of finance systems
- Experience in process mapping and improvement and setting performance measures
- Excellent communication skills
