Online Marketplace Executive

Marketplace is a brand-new online venture for Tesco, designed to give our customers the opportunity to use our website to shop for a wide range of third-party products in addition to the groceries they already know and love. Our initial focus will be on pet food, health and beauty products and alcohol, and as with other online marketplaces, sellers will fulfil orders directly. Join us on this exciting new journey, and you’ll be a key member of a hardworking, collaborative team that’s delivering on our promise to serve our customers, communities and the planet a little better every day.
As a Marketplace Onboarding Executive you will be crucial to our ability to help onboard & support third party sellers onto the Tesco Marketplace platform, to drive scalable growth by optimising and improving our product assortment.
Marketplace is a key pillar of our strategy to be 'Easily the Most Convenient' grocer, offering our customers the opportunity to shop a broad range of 3rd party products, alongside their core grocery basket, seemingly on Tesco.com. To support with building Marketplace, we are in need Online Executives who will help bring our strategy to life.
We are especially interested in hearing from you if you have experience in working in an Online and/or Multichannel/Omnichannel Environment, especially Retail.
Developing and demonstrate sound technical and business understanding the new platform and what is needed to maintain a high bar for our customer experience on-site
Monitoring quality of Marketplace and identifying areas of improvement
Establish critical metrics for quality and build a regular reporting process to monitor these metrics
Identify areas of improvement and opportunities for continuous development of the Marketplace proposition
Data Manipulation (Microsoft Excel/Reporting)
