We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Care Manager to join our team. As the Registered Care Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care services to our clients. You will ensure that our care provision complies with all relevant regulations and meets the individual needs and preferences of our service users. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Management: Provide strong leadership to the care team, fostering a culture of compassion, respect, and professionalism. Recruit, train, and manage care staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet the needs of service users. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide support and guidance to staff as needed. Care Planning and Implementation: Assess the care needs of clients and develop personalized care plans in collaboration with them and their families. Ensure that care plans are regularly reviewed and updated to reflect any changes in the client's condition or preferences. Monitor the implementation of care plans and ensure that care is delivered in accordance with best practice guidelines. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance systems to ensure that the highest standards of care are maintained at all times. Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and identify areas for improvement. Take prompt action to address any issues or concerns raised by service users, their families, or regulatory bodies. Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks to the health and safety of service users and staff, and implement measures to mitigate these risks. Ensure that all staff are trained in health and safety procedures and that these procedures are followed at all times. Investigate incidents and accidents involving service users or staff and implement measures to prevent recurrence. Communication and Collaboration: Build strong relationships with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals involved in their care. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, keeping them informed of any changes to care plans or significant developments. Work collaboratively with other members of the care team, as well as external agencies and organizations, to coordinate care provision and support the holistic needs of service users. Qualifications and Experience: Registered Nurse qualification (RN) or equivalent. Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a care setting. Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
