With a background in process engineering, the ideal candidate will harmonize engineering principles with project management techniques to deliver efficient and innovative solutions. Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and leading projects from ideation through to completion in the CLIENT making business unit capable of liaising with numerous stakeholders, applying good planning principles. Specifically, they would be involved in project design reviews, planning construction activities, and supporting commissioning; in addition to managing key stakeholders (for instance: safety, quality, department). 1) Key Responsibilities: 1.1 Initiation and Planning:

  • Design comprehensive project plans integrating process engineering principles with company goals.
  • Collaborate with R&D, production, and other departments to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
1.2 Execution:
  • Manage site execution works of small/medium sized projects,
  • Interface management with contractors for safety, quality, and schedule control
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel,
  • Lead and deliver installation & operational qualification of new systems,
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Has experience in writing permits to work, as well as, able to write risk assessments.
1.3 Monitoring and Control:
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Continuously monitor and report on the progress of the project to all stakeholders.
  • Implement project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
1.4 Ensure safety needs are met:
  • Ensure Legal compliance on HSE through consultation with site HS&E team through local management of change process,
  • Ensure that safety is considered the TOP priority with all stake-holders (Especially contractors through regular tool-box talks, communication plans and documented procedures)
  • Regular ‘behavioral observation tours’ to step-check adherence of permitted works to RAMS
1.5 Other Expectations:
  • Always represent the Company, in and out of the workplace.
  • Be a champion for the company’s high-performance organization (HPO) principles,
  • Qualification on all pre-requisites for the role.
Specific skills required: (e.g. Software packages, language skills, etc.) Key Skills Required for a successful Candidate:
  • Ability to read, interpret mechanical specs, pipework drawings & layout drawings (P&IDs) & equipment layouts,
  • Strong problem-solving mastery, be able to troubleshoot issues and define countermeasures,
  • Competent on MS software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams & Outlook),
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Collaboration skills to work across site and with external resources,
  • Ability to challenge and iterate on L&T design proposals to drive optimal design solutions.
  • Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering, or a related field,
  • At least 5Yrs of experience in working in a production site and holding a process engineering related role.
