Year 3 Teacher (Maternity Cover) Sheffield September 2024 Full-time, Temporary £110 - £160 per day (dependent on experience) **Job Description:** Career Teachers is seeking a dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join our team in Sheffield for a maternity cover position starting in September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring the academic and personal development of pupils. **Responsibilities:**

  • Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students in Year 3.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and respected.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the holistic development of students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events as required.
**Skills and Qualifications:**
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 curriculum, preferably in Year 3.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to collaborate with others.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
